Bug fixes:

  • During the IDEA Checkbot export, if the cross section is not recognized, it is exported with its name instead of default IPE200.
  • IDEA Checkbot export crashed when dynamic results were present in the model. The bug has been fixed.
  • Error message handling in Consteel Joint has been fixed.
  • Adjustments on wind effect data sent to FALCON plugin in case of Romanian and Spanish standard.

Modifications:

  • Finite element analysis due to distributed loads is now more accurate, therefore a refined mesh is not anymore needed
  • Torsion moment diagrams reflect accurately the effect of distributed torsional moments
  • Values of surface loads are now displayed not at the corner points of the surface but in the middle for better understanding.

Improvements:

  • Map for basic wind velocity in Spain has been added.
  • Descript commands for RC column and smart link

Bug fixes:

  • When changing the cross section of a bar member to which a smart link connected, either the link was not adopted or the position of the connecting second bar member (generally purlin). The bug has been fixed.
  • Because of the incorrect order of the LTS edges, some bar members were not recognized as being in the plane of the LTS and so not assigned to them. The bug has been fixed.
  • Correction in the result table for M+V interaction

Modifications:

  • Model repairing processes were automatically executed at model open and start of analysis earlier. The initiation of these processes has been exposed to the Diagnostics panel under Repair button in order to make it available for the user to control whether they want to run them or not.

  • When moving an LTS, the simulation-based surface wind loads were not moved together with it. The bug has been fixed.
