ποΈ File types
The following file types are handled by Consteel:
ποΈ Cloud save and sharing models
Cloud model save, open and share are new features available from version 15. Your cloud-saved models will accumulate in your personal cloud storage provided by the Steelspace platform. You can quickly view, access, open, or share them directly from Consteel. Your cloud-saved models are always synchronized into the following folder of your local device\\Users(username)\\AppData\\Local\\Consteel\\CloudModels. The model synchronization costs data bandwidth from your monthly limit. Model synchronization is done during the events of first cloud-save, model sharing, and closing the model, all the other actions are saving the model only to the local device in order not to increase the data traffic within your bandwidth limit. If any synchronization problem happens (the models on the local device and in the cloud are not identical and it is not clear which is the right one) you can choose which model version to continue with.
ποΈ Tekla Structures model import, export and update
The smooth and quick transition from the structural model to the detailing model can save significant time and cost. Therefore, Consteel has a high-level interface module to Tekla Structures 64-bit. Besides the export of the global structural model (ie. beams, columns, slabs, walls) also the joint models of Consteel have the corresponding Tekla component. The designed structural model with the placed joint models can be converted into one detailed model without additional modeling efforts for the joints. This unique interface can save significant detailing time and therefore reduce appreciably the project costs.
ποΈ History (model versioning) and comparing versions
In Consteel 16, you can create, view, download, edit and restore previous versions of your models as a new cloud-based service supported by Steelspace. An online connection is required to use the History function as it only works with cloud-saved models. All versioning-related actions cost bandwidth therefore using this service is only limited by the monthly storage limit of your Consteel Community Membership. So donβt forget to save your model regularly as creating a history item and saving to the cloud are not the same! The purpose of the History function is to preserve different states of a model that can be important for future modifications or model review.
ποΈ IFC import and export
IFC is a global standard for data exchange in the building industries. IFC is both a common data model and an open file format. Building industry professionals can use IFC to share data regardless of what software application they use to get their job done.

ποΈ DLUBAL Rstab and SAP2000 model import(.xlsx)
